Ruthin potentials hit £9,100 record

A new centre record was set at Ruthin on Saturday (24 February) with a British Blue-cross heifer by Dragon Blues Firefly from JM and AM Lewis, Llanwrda, Carmarthen.

Judge Eddie Morgan bought her in partnership with Sam Jones, Cilycwm, Carmathenshire, after giving her the champion rosette. The record bid helped lift heifer averages averages £274 to £2,251 a head.
