Seminars and debate at revamped Pig & Poultry Fair

Next year will see a new revitalised British Pig and Poultry Fair, which for the first time will feature dedicated poultry seminars in a new purpose-built theatre, as well as machinery demonstrations.

Organised by the Royal Agricultural Society of England, the event on 13 and 14 May will be the focal point for quality technical information for producers.

“We are working hard to be innovative and commercial to meet the needs of a fast-changing industry,” says technical events manager Alice Bell. “Support for the Fair is strong with over 70% of stand space already booked.”

Innovations will include a new seminar theatre covering key issues affecting poultry producers, providing information and debate not seen elsewhere. There will also be information for specialist producers to help them understand their market and how they can add value for consumers .

RASE is also looking to expand the exhibitor base to include suppliers offering processing, packaging, marketing and retail solutions.

In another first for the event, it is being partnered by nutrition specialist ABN.
