Senior Charolais bulls struggle to get away

The senior Charolais bulls are struggling to find new homes here at Stirling, with a run bulls passing out of ring unsold and few bids creeping past the 3000gns mark.

Next to sell well was Firhills Elton (lot 268) which made 4000gns when selling to Mr Halliday, Dumfriesshire. This one is by Brampton Albert and out of Firhills Viola, a Moyness Statesman daughter. He has a TSI of +39 and an SRI of +40.

The first from Peter Vasey then set trade going a bit better, with Edenhurst Excelsior *lot 269) selling at 7500gns. This is a Burradon Talisman son out of Edenhurst Ruth, a Fleets Vibrant daughter. He has a TSI of +20 and an SRI of +29 and went to Brian Grant.

Then makig 5500gns was Corrie Elano from Duncan MacGregor. This is by Harestone Tadorne and out of Corrie Universal, a Mortimers Roselier daughter. He sold with a TSI of +25 and an SRI of +31.
