Sheep dogs top 3350gns at NSA Sheep 2010

Sheep dog trade at the NSA Sheep 2010, Malvern may not have set any new world records, but trade was still strong, with a top price of 3350gns and an average of £1050 for the 52 dogs on offer.

Leading the day’s trade was Maid, a black and white bitch from A D Powell. By Spot and out of Gwen, both of which were bred by G A Lewis, this experienced bitch was snapped up by A Roffe, Cornwall.

Next in the money at 3000gns was another black and white bitch, this time forward from the youngest consigner on the day 15 year old Aeron Games. Pip whose mother Mel sold for £1580 last year is a good all round bitch and headed home with S W Clarke, Burton on Trent.
