Shorthorns continue with solid trade

Beef Shorthorn trade is continuing solidly here at Perth with Chapelton Adonis from Donald Biggar making a good value price of 5500gns. This son of Typhoon was thick and full of flesh and sold to Orkney.

Then at 3000gns Christopher Marler bought Millerston Augusta from Messrs McLatchie and at 5000gns Major Gibb sold Glenisla Argossy, a Red and White son of Fearn Wyvish.

Following swiftly along after that Messrs Macadie sold Vanguard of Skaillhouse for 3000gns and then reinvested all their earnings in a 3800gns purchase of Bon-Accord Alpha from Aberdeen City Council.
