Simmental female trade kicks off with a bid of 2600gns

Bids for females kicked off at a pace with a call of 2600gns for R and P McAlister from Isle of Bute to Mr Fieding.

He then bought Brian Allan’s Glenturck Susan by Whitemere King Kong for the same price.

Boddington Estates’ first heifer in to the ring, Sterling Joyfull’s Scarlet (first prize winner at the Highland Show last year) sold for 1800gns again to Mr Fielding, I’m guessing looking for foundation females for a new herd, having bought a load of females in November.

Another from Brian Allan with a third prize ticket on her, Glenturk Tanya sold for 2200gns again to Mr Fielding.

Fourth prize ticket from Boddington, Allercott Tracey sold for 2300gns.
