Skipton dairy trade sells to £2100

Trade at Skipton’s monthly dairy sale hit a peak of £2100 for the pre-sale champion, a freshly calved Holstein heifer from Robert Crisp. This one was a Mr Crisp daughter and sold to John Howard, Carleton.

Selling at £1920 was a fresh calved heifer from Jeremy Taylor’s Smellows herd, which went to D Houseman, Darley.

Next best of the day was an £1820 bid for an in-calf heifer from M G T Corner, Easingwold, which sold to Geoff Bleazard, Ribchester.

Then at £1750 was another fresh calved heifer, this time from Raymond and Robert Johnson, Felliscliffe, which sold to G Abbott and son, Dacre.
