Stirling Aberdeen-Angus females hit 10,000gns top

Aberdeen-Angus females sold to a top call of 10,000gns at Stirling on Saturday, with the leading bid made by Angus Hodge, Saxlingham, Norfolk, for Fordle Proud Mama G366, from David Ismail, Dinar Estates. fordel lot 4.jpgProud Mama is a daughter of Fordel Blackbeard and out of Fordel Proud Mama D709, a Netherton Trendy Man daughter. She went with her impressive bull calf, Fordel Meat Packer, a Fordel Excel son at foot.

Second highest price was 4000gns for another from Mr Ismail, the three year old in calf cow, Fordel Duchess H534. This Fordel Eritrea daughter is out of Rawburn Duchess of Buccleuch 6. She again  sold with a bull calf at foot, with this one being Fordel Duke, a son of Wedderlie Kentucky This one was bought by K W Brown, Craigowmill, Ledlanet, Milnathort.

And then at 3000gns was atwo year old calved heifer  from John and Marion Tilson, Wedderlie. This was Wedderlie Pricemore J836, a Wedderlie Glenmore daughter out of Wedderlie Priceright, a Wedderlie Negrom daughter. She sold with her six month old bull calf, Wedderlie Peregrine by Perkhill Eagle, at foot and was also bought by Mr Hodge.
