Top call in the Beef Shorthorn females this afternoon has been a 3600gns call for the pre-sale champion from Charles Lowther. This was Lowther Melody Maker, a Chapelton Transatlantic daughter out of Newfield Melody. She sold in-calf to Blelack Minstrel, due at the end of March.
