22102012 Lot 270.JPGThe Beef Shorthorn female trade was flying, with the the breed seeing a new record average  and a new record top price for a female sold.

The breed record was set by Messrs James Biggar, of Grange, Castle Douglas, who realised 13,000gns for his heifer Chapelton Honeysuckle 3719(LOT  270). She was purchased by Haigh, Lincs.
