Strong lamb trade at Sedgemoor

The best handyweights sold to 189p/kg and 183 p/kg from Mr G Legg; 183 p/kg from Mr AM Bastable; 182 p/kg from Mr JPT Scott and 181 p/kg from Messrs C & A Crudge and Messrs FG, NK & AJ Gammon;.
In the prime cattle trade, there was a very tight entry of 162 prime animals which met an excellent trade, but looked generally dearer again. Some cold cattle showed the affects of the recent weather looked particularly dear.

Black and white steers were also in good demand to 174.5 p/kg from Messrs AJ Gay & Son Ltd, who sold another smart type at 169 p/kg. Good
