Suckled calves sell to £910 at Hallworthy

Kivells of Hallworthy Stockyard in North Cornwall saw a good entry of more than 700 suckled calves sell at the first of a series of six auctions between now and the end of November 2012.


The show and sale is one of the first in the region and attracts buyers from all over the UK who are looking to purchase quality youngstock from farms on and around the Bodmin Moor area. This years show saw the supreme championship awarded to David and Julie Vickery of Bolventor for their homebred seven month old Charolais x steer (pictured).
