Swalesmoor’s overall champion nets 12,000gns to judge

Having picked up the overall championship yesterday, Swalesmoor Cupid from David Sawrij has been bought by the judge Colin Wight, Midlock, at 12,000gns. This one is by Goldies Uppermost and out of Blelack Una and marks a rapid rise to the top by the Swalesmoor herd of businessman Mr Sawrij.

He had a terminal sire index of 38 and a self replacing index of 45.

Selling in the same interlude in the normal proceedings, the reserve intermediate champion Hindstones Cruiser from W J Whyte took a bid of 7000gns to sell locally to Pitlochry.
