A steady run of Limousin bulls in the 7000gns region

Selling for 7000gns was Ampertaine Bailey (lot 181) from the McKay’s. By Sympa he is out of Kype Tanya and has a breed value of +29 and goes to G and D Reid, Perthshire.

The first prize ticket Clury Beast (lot 183) from W F Cruikshank has gone at 5000gns. By Sultan he is out of Lumbylaw Topaz.

At 7100gns Stephen Irvine’s Anside Benjamin (lot 196) by Fleethill Talisman sold to R A Cadzow, Northumberland, while L and R Allison’s Scotchtown Butler by Homebyres Visitor (lot 198) went at 7500gns to G Roberts, Conwy.

It seemed 7000gns wasn’t enough for James Quail to shift Lynderg Bergerac (lot 211). With a first prize ticket I wouldn’t mind betting that might come out in a show ring this year. At 6500gns John Logan sold Homebyres Banker (lot 219) to D and J bell, Cumbria. He is homebred on both sides with a breed value of +31.
