Tecwyn Jones takes Beef Expo commercial title

Tecwyn Jones, Conwy, has just taken the commercial cattle title here at Beef Expo with a British Blue cross heifer, named as so many of Tecwyn’s are – Black Beauty. This one was bought privately from Trefor Jones.

Standing reserve was the steer champion, Priceless, from Phil and Sharon Sellers. This one, a Limousin cross bred by Alan Powell was bought from Ruthin, where he stood champion, for £5000.

Standing reserve heifer champion and exhibitor bred champion was Oh La La from Christine Williams and Paul Tippets, Shifnal. This one is by Salomon out of a Limousin x British Blue dam. Reserve steer champion was Gold Digger, a Charolais cross from Elwyn Jones.
