Texel Christmas Cracker sale tops at 24,000gns

Leading the way at yesterday’s Christmas Cracker Texel sale in Carlisle was Aberdeenshire-based Albert Howie’s Knock flock. His sale leader wouldn’t have been a suprise to many as it was a February 2009-born daughter of Tophill Knockout out of a daughter by Anglezarke Krug. Described as the best female ever to be offered for sale from Mr Howie, she is full sister to the 8000gns Knock Powerpacker and is maternal sister to the 20,000gns Knock Oregano, as well as Orion, Ronick, Nugget and Reebok.
