Taking the interbreed sheep title here at Newark was the Texel champion, a shearling ewe from Frank Rushton. This is by a homebred tup, Freshfields Outstander and out of a homebred ewe by Clinerty Impressive.
Reserve to her was a Suffolk shearling ram from Liz Needham. This is Strathisla Sea Eagle bred by Robbie Wilson in Aberdeenshire and bought for £500 at Kelso last September. He is by Lake View Leroy and out of a Strathisla ewe.
Taking the interbreed group of three title was the Charolais team from Charles Sercombe and family.
