Thainstone Angus stores top £940

More than 900 animals made their way to Inverurie’s Thainstone Centre for a show and sale of Aberdeen-Angus sired store cattle on Friday.

Stepping up to the challenge of judging was David Jackson, Mains of Melgund, Brechin. He selected his champion in the form of a 622kg June 2006-born steer from W Barnetson and Sons, Lynegar, Watten, which realised £940 to D and V Buchan, Savoch, Longside.
