And that’s the end of the Charolais bulls here at Stirling on what can only be described as an exceptionally electric trade for the breed.
By my reckoning there are 17 at 10,000gns or more and a new centre record for Stirling set at 45,000gns. I’d not be surprised to see a new record average to join it, but I’ve no indication what it might be yet, my money is for it to be the right side of £6000. I’ll let you know as soon as I have any idea what it is.
UPDATE, the 159 bulls sold through the ring have averaged £5888.26
