Italian firm Argo Tractors, the manufacturer of McCormick and Landini machines, has appointed AgriArgo UK to take on the sole distribution rights for the UK and Ireland.

AgriArgo is based in Harworth, South Yorkshire, and the agreement replaces a mutually ended arrangement with Irish distributor D&S Machinery, Dublin, and H Fulton Tractors, Dungiven.

H Fulton will continue to be a retail dealer under the new arrangement, while D&S Machinery is moving on to pursue other interests.

All distribution for the Irish market will be handled by AgriArgo, supplying parts from the £3m of stock held in South Yorkshire.
