A low-specification version of Case’s 131hp MXU Maxxum tractor is now available – the X-Line.
The new model is now the largest in the low-spec MXU Maxxum X Line range.
The MXU 130X uses a six-cylinder turbo-charged engine with two valves per cylinder and mechanical fuel injection.
A choice of transmissions is available, including a 16F x 16R four-speed semi-powershift with powershuttle.
The lower horsepower models are available with a mechanical 24F x 24R box with powershuttle and two-speed splitter.
Electronic linkage control is standard on the MXU 130X and is available as an option on the smaller models.
A dedicated hydraulic pump for steering ensures oil flow is maintained for all services at all times while a separate 63-litre/min
hydraulic pump services three remote valves and the three-point linkage.
Two additional valves and a seat-mounted joystick are fitted for loader applications.
For those with cramped buildings to negotiate, a low profile cab is available.
In conjunction with a shortened exhaust stack, this takes overall height to 2.8m (9ft) – a reduction of 150mm (6in).
