As well as launching the new Cayena tine drill (featured in FW 12 June), Amazone also showed its Cirrus 6000 Activ 6m pneumatic combination drill, too.
The 3000-litre capacity machine features two KG 603-2 power harrows, unlike the previous Cirrus Special and Super drills which had two rows of discs, meaning the machine can be used both for min-till and ploughed seedbeds.
It’s got a larger 1050mm tyre packer and 36 tines in three rows.
As it’s a trailed machine, the horsepower requirement is about 250hp, says Amazone, who announced they will be concentrating on expanding its portfolio of cultivation equipment in the future. This one will retail at £127,480.
