Challenger tractors and sprayers to be sold in Fendt colours

After much talk, Agco has confirmed that Challenger tracked tractors and sprayers will be dressed in Fendt colours throughout Europe and the Middle East regions.

However, machines sold across the pond in the America along with the Asia-Pacific and African regions will remain in Challenger yellow.

It’s also unclear just how much the rebranding will change things under the skin – the companies are remaining tight-lipped ahead of the full launch planned at Agritechnica in November.

“The broad product portfolio is designed to offer our customer and dealers a virtually complete and complementary range of machines”, says Peter-Josef Paffen, Agco/Fendt CEO.

Production of Challenger machines will relocate from Grubbenvorst in the Netherlands to Agco’s German site in Hohenmolsen, where trailed sprayers and some Fendt Katana foragers are already built.

Western and central Europe can expect to see the rebranded machines during the first few months of next year, whereas eastern Europe will have to wait an extra year.
