LAMMA 10: Bomford adds forward arm to hedgecutter

More and more farmers are asking for a forward arm option on their hedgecutters, says Evesham’s Bomford.

So, it’s added the feature to its updated Kestrel S machine, allowing operators to bring the cutting head parallel with their line of sight for better control and less neck-ache.

The three-point linkage mounted range has a maximum reach of 4.9m and can be operated by tractors of 55hp upwards. It’s fitted with a 1.2m Pro-Trim head and can be specced with a choice of seven flails. Standard fit is a 90 degree power slew with auto-reset and break back protection, and the S range starts from £13,000.
