LAMMA 2009: MF 8600
Massey’s MF 8600 range broke cover for the first time on UK soil.
Ranging from 270 – 370hp, it’s expected that the flagship 8690, the largest conventional tractor ever made by Massey, will attract most interest from farmers.
Fitted with a new heavy-duty Dyna-VT CVT transmission, DataTronic display and four-point OptiRide cab suspension, the four model range will be available in two levels of spec, MF 8600 and MF 8600 ‘Excellence’ models.
All models adopt Sisu Power’s Citius SCR (selective catalytic reduction) engines, and are the first mainstream tractors to meet the new Tier 3b emissions. The first 8600 tractors are destined for dealer’s yards at the beginning of April and prices for the 370hp 8690 start from £145,782.
