Austrian firm Pottinger had a new 6m Terrasem C-series drill on its stand at LAMMA.
Sticking with the company’s principle of cultivate-press-sow-press-harrow, it has two rows of discs followed by a bank of spring levelling tines and a tyre packer. Behind this run double-disc coulters with individual rubber press wheels in tow. A following harrow provides the final finish.
With 3000-litre hopper, ISOBUS controls, remote calibration and hydraulic or air-brakes as standard, it’s a pretty high-spec machine.
