JCB’s flagship 8000-series was also on show. The range has undergone a revamp, including new Sisu blocks in the 8280 and 8310, providing 279hp and 306hp respectively.
Kitted out with the same Fendt Vario CVT as before, the Fastrac’s driveline is identical to Agco’s Valtra S-series and MF 8600 machines, but with all the control software developed in-house by JCB.
In using SCR technology, the manufacturer suggests the engine can be run in it’s ‘dirty’ form to gain maximum power, and and claim there’s up to 15% more torque available compared with the Cummins powerplant previously used.
