LAMMA 2012: Fuel-friendly Agrotron

Deutz Fahr Agrotron L730

Deutz-Fahr previewed the latest member of its 200hp+ tractor range at the show.

The Agrotron L730 has a six-pot Deutz commonrail engine, bringing it into line with the latest emissions regulations. Peaking at a maximum of 220hp, the tractor offers high constant torque and low fuel consumption.

The 7146cc engine drives though a 50kph full powershift transmission with 12 gears in three operating ranges (creeper, work, or transport).

Gears can be changed manually though the PowerComS control lever or automatically using the Automatic Powershift function, which selects gear depending on load conditions and engine speed.
