Make the most of your farm drone

Want to know how to make the most of a drone, whether it’s for improving your security, keeping a check on ditches, drains and fences, monitoring crops and livestock, scaring pigeons or just keeping an eye on barn and house? Or offering it as a service for other farmers?

Newcastle-based Heliguy, which imports DJI Innovations drones, is offering a free pilot training course designed for first-time users and those who want to learn more about flying safely. You’ll be given a one-hour indoor training session, says the company, followed by a one-hour outdoor hands-on practice session with an experienced instructor.

The course will be held at Newcastle Falcons Ground on Thursday 11 December from 1pm. Space is limited to only 60 delegates so you need to book beforehand via Heliguy.
