New Avant 528 loader can be driven without foot pedals

Avant has launched a new hand-driven version of the 528 loader that has been adapted to allow users with disabilities or limb impairment to operate the machine.

The drive is controlled from either the foot pedal or joystick, with the latter being able to control all boom functions at the same time.

The loader can fit through stable doors with materials shifted and bedding up horses achieved without leaving the seat.

Adding the hand-driven option to the 528 means an extra £1,683 on the total ticket price.
