Quivogne V-sub comes to UK

If you’re looking for a tool to make your Quadtrac sweat, you probably won’t go far wrong with the V-sub from Quivogne. The French maker has been selling the heavy-duty trailed subsoiler in Europe for a couple of years, but has just started to offer it to UK farmers.

It’s available in four different working widths from 4m to 7m, but Quivogne UK says the 6m machines are likely to be the most popular in the UK.

A heavy-duty ridged chassis runs down the centre of the machine and there are folding wings on each side that hold most of the legs. All versions fold to 2.9m for transport.

Quivogne says the swept-wing design makes the V-sub easier to pull than subsoilers with straight leg arrangements and the shape helps with trash flow, too.

At the back, Quivogne has also fitted a hydraulic three-point linkage. Typically, this will have a folding packing roller hanging on in, but you can use your imagination and add anything you want.

A 6m machine with auto-reset tines and a packer will cost about £53,000.
