Shelbourne hedgtrimmer flail head moves forwards and backwards

Advance tickets are now available for this year’s Grassland and Muck 2008 Event on 21 and 22 May at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire. Normal gate price is £15, but you can get them for £12 each by ringing 024 7669 6969 or clicking on the official event website on

The latest option for the 6m HD 62 Powerblade hedge trimmer from Bury St Edmunds firm Shelbourne Reynolds is a VFR (Variable Forward Reach) flail head that can be moved forwards to position it in line with the operator. This, says the firm, gives the versatility of a rear-mounted machine with the ease of use normally only afforded to mid-mounted hedgetrimmers. The head can be moved 1.5m forward or back with only a marginal effect on reach.
