Latest kit set for June demo at Muck Management UK event

Anyone concerned with the business of processing, transporting or spreading muck and slurry can get the measure of the latest equipment at a new working event.

Muck Management UK takes place on 3-4 June at Bodrhyddan Hall near Rhyl, Denbighshire, and is exclusively focused on the handling of manure and use of the nutrients and organic matter it contains.

Among the machines pencilled in for a demonstration slot are Strautmann and Richard Western muckspreaders, Holmer Terra Variant 650 and Vredo VT7028-3 self-propelled applicators, and Vogelsang’s XSplit slurry separator.

Away from the in-field action, the organisers have put together a series of technical forums, in association with Adas.

Topics include manure storage and infrastructure, slurry separation and nutrient partitioning, and the impact of different application techniques on air quality.

One-day tickets are available online and cost ÂŁ25.
