Stand-Alone Baler On Way

Stand-Alone Baler On Way

McHale engineering is to launch a stand-alone round baler at this year”s Smithfield show. The unit – which would usually form the baler section of the company’s Fusion baler/wrapper combination – is to be available for first-cut silage next year.

A roller-type fixed-chamber machine, it will produce bales of 1.2m diameter and can be fitted with a chopper unit for silage work. McHale says the baler was extensively tested during the 2004 season and performed well under a range of conditions. (McHale: Stand No 161)
