Tillage 2009: Versatile Sulky Easydrill hopes to raise interest

Last autumn’s poor weather meant that demos of the Sulky Easydrill, imported by Rustons Engineering, were more than somewhat hampered.

But the firm’s Aaron Keogh is confident that the new machine will attract a lot of interest over the coming months from farmers wanting a versatile machine.

It will drill straight into stubble, ploughed land or almost any other ground provided it’s pressed and level.

The £50,000 price tag is substantial but Mr Keogh points out that it only needs a 100hp tractor to pull it and (in the right conditions) can give true no-till drilling.
