Tractor sales see 14% rise

The UK tractor market has seen a 14.1% increase compared with the first six months of last year, according to the Agricultural Engineers Association.

June was the slowest month for growth seen this year, but still an improvement on the previous year of 3.1%.

The slowing-up in sales has been put down to uncertainty over the snap general election and the early stages of the Brexit negotiations, so an increase is still be welcomed by the industry.
