6000gns high at Stirling dispersal

BREEDERS competed for a bevy of choice females at the Stirling herd dispersal for the Hornall family, bringing a top price of 6000gns.

Bob Lunness infused his expanding Charolais herd with some of the Stirling magic and made the leading bid for Stirling Lilac. This May 1995-bred heifer was sold with a heifer calf at foot by the 25,000gns Maerdy Impeccable and was AId to him again in September. Lilac, by Chesham Hercules, won her class at last years Royal Show.

Peter Old from Dorchester invested 5200gns in the 22-month-old heifer Stirling Nunita, a Grove Victor heifer out of the successful Chesham Unita, and a great show prospect for next season. &#42
