AMCrate reduced

THE Agricultural Mortgage Corporation and the AMC Bank have reduced their variable rate by 0.5% to 7.4%, matching last weeks base rate cut by the Bank of England.

AMC Bank will also cut rates on its High Interest Cheque Account from 5.75% to 5.25% on Feb 26.

It predicts the UK base rate, which now stands at 5.5%, could fall another 0.5-1% by the end of the year. &#42
