Anti-rabies laws to go this year?
BRITAINS quarantine laws could be scrapped by the end of the year, under plans being considered by Agriculture Minister Nick Brown.
Mr Brown told the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals that he wants an the early introduction of “pet passports” for immunised animals.
He is considering changing the law using secondary legislation, which would not be dependent on finding a spot in the governments packed parliamentary timetable.
