Commercial vehicles continue to gain ground in Ireland on account of the lower rate of vehicle registration tax they attract. With this in mind, Chrysler Jeep has introduced a five-door version of its Cherokee Commercial. Load space in the 2.5-litre turbo diesel powered commercial amounts to 103cu ft – 14cu ft more than the previous three-door model – while maximum towing capacity is 2500kg with a braked trailer. A restyled interior, driver and passenger airbags and a more rounded exterior look complete the changes of the £20,200 Cherokee Commercial.
