Free advice on CP
FARMERS and landowners concerned about a compulsory purchase threat to land and buildings can now use a free national advice service, spearheaded by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
"Taking on the might of a large company can be terribly daunting. This gives farmers access to the very best legal advice and professional guidance," says Patrick Downes of Bruton Knowles, one of the adviser companies.
The RICS helpline will put enquirers in touch with a specialist adviser in their area (0171-222 7000, ext 589). *
