Last of the wheat? Robert Robsons combine wrapped up Chris Martins Consort at West High House Farm, near Morpeth, Northumberland, last Friday. "The moisture was quite good, only 21%," says Mr Martin. But a neighbouring farmer still has beans to cut, and more spring crops and set-aside are now inevitable, says Mr Robson, who farms at nearby Pagswood Moor. "It has been a struggle from day one.
