Kids bridging the town/country gap

The distance between town and country can seem like a million miles. Ask an urban child where milk comes from and the answer ccould be "the supermarket".

Whats needed is greater understanding. Its a two-way process – one that involves listening, learning and tolerance. Its also a process that should start early, so its encouraging to see projects such as Kids Care for the Countryside. As our Farmlife Section explains, the project twins inner city and rural children and encourages them to talk about the realities of their lives.
