Are you finding your way around the world-wide web?

IF YOU have spent any time on the internet youll know that there are many millions of sites. But sorting the useful from the useless is more of a challenge. Here are a few sites that cover dairy related topics which you may find interesting. If you can recommend any others e-mail

Milk Development Council

Includes project factsheets, news on the progress of the generic advertising campaign and a list of publications available – which you can order by e-mail. The sites also includes contact details for each of its Focus


The latest news from MAFF, regularly updated. It has a good library of information, with details of environmental schemes, quotas and livestock premium schemes, and disease and welfare information, as well as a comprehensive section on bovine TB. Publications are listed, but there is no on-line ordering facility.

National Dairy Council

If you havent seen the generic milk advertising campaign TV ads you can watch them through this site, with the right software on your personal computer. Click on the information button to find nutritional information, recipes, info and games for schoolchildren, and links to other dairy related sites.
