Asda fails to impress
ASDA may be selling more British meat, but they will still be buying cheap and selling dear.
As Ive heard it from friends in the USA, the price for Coca-Cola in the UK is about twice the price they pay in the USA. And Asda have an own-brand cola which sells for less than 20p for a 2-litre bottle.
Were used to supermarkets ripping-off their suppliers, including farmers. Maybe it is time we tell everyone else what the supermarkets are doing to them.
