LIMOUSIN breeders marked their last sale at Automart, Portadown, with a top price of 5400gns for a bull boasting impressive performance figures combined with shape and style.
Aghadolgan Resident earned the highest price to date for owner Raymond Savage of Glenavy. By Westpit Nordic he has a beef value of LM29. Buyer was Joe Redmond, Loughall.
Two striking sons of Bailea Max from Shane MacKeans herd at Loughanmore swept to victory with Sweethall Redbull taking the senior title and selling to R Simpson for 4400gns.
Herdmate Sweethall Rumpy out of an Uplands Eros dam stood supreme and made 3900gns to Mark McCracken, Limavady.
The Automart centre, which has been sold for redevelopment, drew a big crowd, which dug deep for bulls on offer from Northern Ireland Limousin Club chairman John Adams Fedneyhouse herd.
His biggest earner was an embryo son of Redpaths Jaguar who has a beef value of LM22 and sold for 4100gns.
