Bananas on the menu at WTO meeting
THE World Trade Organisations (WTO) disputes settlement body meets in Geneva on Thursday to discuss the latest European Union (EU) proposals to reform its banana import regime.
US and Latin American producers have already said the proposals are against WTO rules. They have also made several requests for dispute panels.
The EU is also asking for panels against Korea regarding diary products.
