LAST year it was Jurassic Park, this year its the World Cup. So taking their place on childrens catering menus this summer will be Footballers from Bernard Matthews.
Each one is a 25g portion of chopped turkey meat in crispy crumb and they come in three shapes: a goalie and two strikers. A recommended serving ranges from one to three pieces.
The target market is caterers serving children across the board, from pubs to hospitals.
Distribution is frozen, 96 pieces to a case.
