GAIN added convenience by using 100kg feed blocks in plastic tubs that should supply 100 sheep for 10 days or 20 cattle for a week, says feed supplement supplier Dallas Keith.

These are an alternative to 500kg blocks for inaccessible locations or small groups of sheep and cattle which save time and effort compared with the 20kg blocks, claims Dallas Keith.

These tubs are available in four formulations: Energy, with molasses and cereals; Extra Energy, with a higher level of protected fat; Protein Energy; and Hi-Mag with a high magnesium level.

Energy and Protein Energy blocks cost £45 each and Extra Energy and Hi-Mag blocks cost £49 each (01993-773061).
