Britain eats more Kiwi lamb

CONSUMPTION of New Zealand lamb increased in Britain last year, despite efforts to substitute imports with British meat.

The Herald reports that the lamb market is poised to get a big boost courtesy of British and New Zealand interests putting £1 million apiece into a promotional push.

Meat New Zealand (MNZ) and the Meat and Livestock Commission will both be starting their campaigns in February.
